Two lab members, Dr. Jess Choi and Dr. Tori Hoyle, earned their doctorates in 2024!
Dr. Jess Choi successfully defended her dissertation, entitled “Counterdefense of host innate immunity by grapevine fanleaf virus”, in July 2024. She graduated from Cornell University with a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology.
Dr. Tori Hoyle successfully defended her dissertation, entitled “The ecology and behavior of Spissistilus festinus in relation to the transmission of grapevine red blotch virus”, in November 2024. She graduated from Cornell University with a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology.
